over from Hampshire combined with Camberly 1948 Sub Station, West Street Farnham started with only one full time member, three more full time men were engaged in August 1948 at £5 10s 0d for a 44 hour week, they covered 0600hrs to 2200hrs, with voluntary crews covering nights and weekends. This station kept its own telephone switchboard until 1965. 1959 Moved to The Hart Farnham new purpose built Station 1966 On St Johns giving up the agency, crews transferred to Surrey Ambulance, stayed at same Station as paying guests. 1998 New purpose built station off A31 Tongham *GATWICK - S.A.S. 1962 Specially built to cover the airport at Gatwick. 1998 Reconstruction to take
place, extra vehicle bay and training facilities. *GODSTONE - S.A.S. 1961 Sub Station based at
the Green Circle Garage Oxstead. This area had been covered
by supplementary stations, which
could no longer cover due to lack of volunteers. *GODALMING - B.R.C.S. and S.A.S. 1948 Sub station, The Wharf Bridge Street Godalming, Wooden Garage. Absorbed by Surrey Ambulance in a new Main Station at Cattershall Lane 1975 Main Station at Cattershall Lane, this replaced the one at Guildford. The new station included a large fitters bay and Social Club for the staff. Godalming was the last agency station to be taken over by Surrey Ambulance Service. Payed staff were absorbed by Surrey Ambulance 1996 Restructured made smaller, fitters
transferred to Farnborough 1948 Main Control Station Woodbridge Road Guildford. Pre war station, purpose built 1926, about 8 of the staff were full time from this pre - war period. Fully manned station, although it did for a time have some supplementary crews. 1965 On S.J.A.B. giving up their agency, the Surrey Ambulance rented the station, and absorbed the crews. As site was becoming quite unsuitable the main station moved to Godalming, leaving a Sub Station at Guildford 1974 Temporary Sub Station. Porta-Cabin Farnham Road Hospital, vehicles had to be keep out in the open, only basic facilities for crews. 1986 New Station, London Road Guildford
